PERSONALITY AWARENESS
How did I come to be the person I am now? When you know that you are a separate entity, you come to the realization that even though you are separate and unique, you also exist in the world – this is personality awareness. Knowing the distinctive patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behavior is known as personality awareness..
AN ITEM THAT REPRESENTS YOU
Every individual is unique in his or her way. The things that define your uniqueness are only for you and describe how people view you. Do you know that there is an object that fits perfectly with your personality? Do you also know that your personality can be presented by an object? An object is anything that is visible or tangible and is relatively stable in form. It is also something mental or physical toward which thought, feeling, or action is directed. Generally, the chosen item will help depict an individuals personality and give a much deeper meaning.
IDENTITY BOX
We all have identities we perceive as our own identity, while others perceive identity and associate it with us. This may or may not be the same thing with our perception. Creating an Identity box will help one to know and understand ourselves, and others in our community. In finding an Item that represents you a shoebox can be utilized, it is generally a perfect size and the lid is easily removed to view the objects.
FAMILY TREE
A family tree or pedigree chart is a chart representing family relationships in a conventional tree structure. Family trees can be represented in several formats and can have many themes. The more detailed trees are often presented with the oldest generations at the top and the newer generations at the bottom.
Creating a family tree is a good way to organize family information and learn family history. A family tree is a diagram showing the relationship between people in several generations of a family. It is also a symbol of family and connection to your ancestors. A tree symbolizes the generations of your family; a tree sprout from a seed, grows and branches out, sees how far it can go, and then creates a new fruit that gives life to the next generation to begin.
PRE-BIRTH STORY
Before the birth of every child, certain happenings, events, occasions, information, premonitions, messages, and signs precede the birth. These factors sometimes determine the name a child is given by the parents or chart the course for the child’s future or perceived destiny.
BIRTH STORY
Everyone has a birth story and every birth story is different. Giving birth can be one of life’s most intense experiences. Childbirth is a physical feat, but there is also the emotional aspect of staring into your baby’s eyes for the very first time. Like many experiences, with time, the details of our birth can fade and our memories shape lift. Writing our birth stories down is a powerful way to preserve the story of our birth for us and our kids. There is no right or wrong length or amount of detail, write what matters to you.
CHILDHOOD STORY
Everyone has passed through these stages and each one has different stories or memories peculiar to their childhood. Various childhood factors could affect a person’s attitude formation and identity. The geographies of childhood involve how society perceives the idea of childhood, the many ways adult attitudes and behaviours affect children’s lives.
WHAT IS YOUR NAME?
A name is a term used for identification by an external observer, it can identify a class or category of things, or a single thing. A personal name identifies a specific individual, our names are an incredibly important part of our identity, they carry deep personal, cultural, familial, and historical connections. They also give us a sense of who we are, the communities in which we belong, and our place in the world.
YOUR GREATEST FEAR
Fears are common in childhood. Fear is a disturbing emotion gripped by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., the feeling or condition of being afraid, something that causes feelings of dread or uneasiness towards something a person. Fear is a feeling that everyone has, programmed into all and that’s a good thing because fear is there to protect us. We’re born with a sense of fear so we can react to something that could be dangerous. Other fears that you have make sense and do not need to be conquered are , If for instance you’re afraid to ride your bike on a busy highway, right on! You should be afraid because it’s dangerous. There’s no need to get over a fear like that, not even if someone dares you. Find a safe place to ride instead. Sometimes the worst thing about feeling afraid is that you don’t know what to do and usually the best way to get over a fear is to get more information about it.
WHAT EXCITES YOU?
What makes you enthusiastic/pumped/zealous/vigorous /energetic and motivated? Think about it, then think about whether it in any way would make you more effective/functional/capable in whatever you do. When you are excited is when you feel like learning something/doing something /going somewhere and becoming a better human being everyday, it could mean a lot of things but the underlying thing is that it makes you feel like you don’t want to stop/ makes you feel really great. If, for example, meeting new people was exciting for you, then looking at picking up a career in customer service of some kind would be excellent, compared to seeking a career where you would always work alone and never meet anyone new, that would be frustrating for you and not fulfilling in any way. So think of what motivates/spur /energizes /urges you and you would have helped yourself discover your passion and relevance in life.
PUBLIC SPEAKING
Public speaking is a process of speaking to a group of people in a well-ordered, well-thought-out planned & deliberate manner intended to inform, influence/impress or entertain the listeners. There may or may not be an opportunity for interaction between the speaker and audience. The basic difference, however, between a casual talk and public speaking is that the latter is more purposeful and meant for celebratory, entertainment, influencing, or informative purposes. Public speaking refer to the talent of effectively addressing an audience, whether it is in front of a group of people you already know or a crowd of complete strangers, your ability to communicate to them with clarity and confidence is known as your public speaking skills.
BOOK STUDY
Book studies are a great way to level up your personal and professional learning and development. It is a way of building experiences of the world by helping us to see and understand things which have never happened to us firsthand. Book studies also help us in building on our experiences to increase our knowledge of the unknown and enabling us to witness and attempt to understand things from new vantage points. A meaningful book study should always start with the why, just like the learning in our classrooms.
