My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge ~ Hosea 4:6.

Self knowledge is crucial to wholeness; the loss of identity is the foundation of dehumanization. This loss of identity has culminated in the display of anger, bitterness, anxiety, domestic violence and the public unrest that we daily witness in today’s society.

Unfortunately, people are filling the vacuum with various unhealthy
coping skills, including addiction to drugs, alcohol, substances abuse, busyness, all in an attempt to numb, hide or deny their realities. I have been inspired to come up with a better solution – Self Knowledge; remembering and claiming who you are through a curriculum of the IESSP.

The IESSP is an acronym for Identity, Educational, Spiritual and Social Plan. It is modeled after the special education IEP (Individualized Educational Plan) and Inspired by the poem “They Are Singing Your Song” Rev. Dr. Moses Sowale is the founder of The Voice Inc., The Brigade Youth Program Brockton, The Abigail’s Women Project, and the pioneer priest of Grace Chapel Episcopal/Anglican Church Brockton. This curriculum is a direct product of his over twenty-five years experience in working with young people, women, men and their families.

The IESSP is designed to help individuals claim their unique identity,
discover their special abilities and educational learning styles, find their unique connection with God and be reconciled to their unique person or community of belonging. The curriculum will be used in the context of one-on-one mentoring, life coaching and pastoral care and counseling. The overall goal of the curriculum is to help users to remember and claim who they are in all of their beauty and blemishes.

It will encourage participants to discover their unique path, finding that particular guiding song inside that will let them face challenges, nurture spirituality, and celebrate individuality within a loving community. With the IESSP, users will be challenged to maximize their potential through strategic planning and accountability. I hope to bring together a circle of spiritual, educational, and social leaders, resources, and mentors who can help others grow into a confident, spiritual, and caring person.

If you see the Moon, You see the Beauty of God! If you see the Sun! You see the power of God! And If you look at the Mirror, You see the Best Creation of GOD – YOU! — Author Unknown

We look forward to hearing from you.

Mission

The Voice is a faith-based, 501C3 non-profit organization. We have the mandate of using Christ’s principles to help people claim their identity, in all beauty and ashes, by creating safe places of belonging, advocating for social justice and providing basic human needs, for individuals and groups, who have long been alienated, forgotten or silenced, because of their unique differences.

Vision

Knowing who you are, and who you are not, and being authentic. Maximizing your potentials and being fulfilled. Loving the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, connecting with self, and being reconciled with others and all of creation, by doing this we will attain wholeness.
